Snap invited me to help co-creative direct a massive keynote presentation in LA, and I mean massive. We animated over 400 slides for a giant screen setup, which pushed everything to the limit. To keep things on track, we built a motion system the whole design team could use, which helped speed things up and keep the work consistent across the board. The screen size made rendering painfully slow at times, so we broke down each scene into separate elements to allow for last-minute stakeholder changes without killing our timeline. This one was all about workflow and organization. And trust me, both were tested. Big shoutout to LucidLink for saving the day more than once, and to Kyle Thompson, who was always thinking five steps ahead, and a stacked team of A-player designers. I'm genuinely grateful to have been part of it. It was one of those projects that sticks with you. Anyway, the 2023 Snap Partner Summit showcased Snap’s partner ecosystem, creator tools, and the wild ways people are using the platform to express themselves and actually get paid doing it. One of the big highlights was a collab with DJ Kygo, where we brought Snap AR into the live music space for an entirely new kind of concert experience.

The Snap Summit was a big one, tons of moving parts, endless assets, and constant updates. The biggest challenge? Staying organized while keeping that signature Snap motion aesthetic intact. Instead of just diving into design, we had to shift gears and focus heavily on workflow and process. It was a bit of a learning curve for all of us, but through a lot of collaboration, we built systems that kept everything moving smoothly. Huge shoutout to everyone who contributed; seeing it all come together live was incredibly rewarding. The final presentation looked amazing.
