Client: Personio
Role: Lead 2D Motion Design
This was a massive project showcasing my motion design and workflow systems. 2,200 people from all over the world, 5 cities, 20+ workshops, 15+ keynotes, and hundreds of in-person meetings. I led all the motion graphics, creating over 200 individual pieces of content. A lot of the keynote animations needed to sync with clickers, which meant most decks had double or triple the slides. I built a clean, flexible motion system to keep things fast, simple, and visually consistent, while juggling constant design changes and tight deadlines. There were a ton of moving parts, but I kept things on track, even if that meant putting in some weekend hours to make sure nothing slipped. Slides came in through Figma (not the easiest for motion), but I found a plugin workaround to extract what I needed, though it struggled with alphas. To help the production team stay sane during the crunch, I set up a clear folder structure and pipeline that kept everything organized. In the end, everything went out smoothly. No errors, no last-minute scrambles. The system I built even got reused for future events. Honestly, it’s one of the best examples of how I approach motion design with structure, speed, and adaptability.
HUG Event
The goal was to build a motion system that felt consistent, clean, and scalable. Everything was done in After Effects, and while I wanted to sneak in some 2.5D elements, the tight timeline meant my focus had to be on speed and structure over exploration. Most of my energy went into keeping the workflow smooth and organized, not just for myself, but for the entire team. It was a solid group to collaborate with, and I genuinely hope Personio continues to thrive. Great people, great mission.
